Clinics We Offer

We offer a range of clinics and services for our patients within general practice. You will be referred by your clinician if you are suitable for our clinics unless stated below that it is a bookable clinic that does not require GP referral.

MSK- Musculoskeletal Clinic

Musculoskeletal conditions affect the joints, bones and muscles, and also include rarer autoimmune diseases and back pain.

MSK clinics are held on Friday mornings and you will need to be referred by your clinician to use this service.

Physio Assessment Clinic

Please contact the surgery to book a slot at the physio assessment clinic. You do need to be referred by your GP for this service.

If you have any pains, aches or strains that you need help in managing come and speak to us today to book your place. 

Physio clinics are held on Saturday only. 

Minor Ops- Lumps and Bumps Clinic

All patients suitable for the minor ops clinic will be referred by their clinician for treatment. 

This service is for minor conditions that do not require referral to specialist clinics. 

Minor Ops Clinics are held on Friday only.

Cervical Screening Clinic

We strongly recommend women between 25 and 65 years have a cervical screening test every 3-5 years depending on your age. 

It only takes a few minutes and could save your life. The test checks for abnormal cells that could lead to cancer. 

If you are due a cervical screening test please phone reception to book your appointment with the practice nurse.

A chaperone service is offered for all Cervical screening.

Diabetes Clinic

Our diabetes clinics offer multidisciplinary care for diabetics, providing a team approach to support, care and education. 

Doctors Clinics are held on Friday afternoons and can be booked in with our practice nurse.

Chronic Disease Clinic

We run clinics to help with the management of chronic diseases such as Asthma and COPD. This is to help with the understanding of your condition, self-management and the correct use of inhalers. 

We recommend attendance at this clinic at least once a year. 

Family Planning Clinic

We offer a comprehensive family planning service during normal surgery times, however the fitting of implants will require a special appointment.  

If emergency contraception is required you will need to book an emergency appointment at reception - please note this is only effective up to 72 hours after sexual intercourse.

Smoking Cessation Clinic

This clinic is designed to offer a range of options to help you to stop smoking. 

Speak with your GP if you feel you need help to stop smoking. 

Childhood Immunisation Clinic

Our childhood immunisation clinics are run by the practice nurses and are free to anyone under the age of 16. They are vital in protecting your baby from a number of diseases such as Whooping Cough, Tetanus and Measles. 

If you have any questions about immunisations, please speak to your clinician.

Keeping up to date with vacccinations protects your baby. To book an appointment please contact reception.

Weight Management Clinic

Weight reduction clinics are here to assess your current weight and the most appropriate course of action to help with your weight management. 

Adult Vaccinations Clinic

We offer a number of adult vaccinations available free of charge such as travel vaccinations and those only available to high risk groups such as the flu jab. 

Please see the travel advice section if you are travelling abroad and feel you may need vaccinations.

If you think you are in a high-risk group and are worried about vaccinations please speak to your clinician.

Minor Ailment Advice Clinic

This clinic enables you to obtain advice and possible treatment on a number of minor ailments. 

Joint Pain Injection Clinic

If you are suffering from a condition that affects your joints, there are options available to help ease pain. If you are suitable for this service, you will be referred by your GP.

Wound Care Clinic

If you have a complex wound that is not healing, you may be referred to the wound clinic by your clinician to help with treatment. There you will be assessed to set the most realistic course of action.
